20th November 2025: new syllabus available to view online
1st December 2025: entries open for the 2026 Derby Arts Festival
15th February 2026: entries close. Late entries will not be accepted
1st March 2026: class dates and times will be issued
15th March 2026: all trophies and cups awarded in 2025 to be returned to section secretaries by this date
20th March 2026: all backing track and piano parts for the official accompanist to be sent to section secretaries by this date.
17th – 19th April 2026: Vocal and Choirs Section classes (classical and traditional + adult choirs)
20th – 23rd April 2026: Instrumental Section classes
24th -26th April 2026: Vocal and Choirs Section classes (contemporary and junior choirs)
27th – 30th April 2026: Speech and Drama Section classes
20th May 2026: Festival Concert
9th June 2026: Music Club Festival Concert
24th June 2026: Festival lunchtime concert at Derby Cathedral
